Amazing prof. Entire class is very organized. Lots of resources to help you outside of lectures. Homework and exam difficulty is perfect. Really good book. Lectures are interesting with a lot of participation. Prof is hilarious, sometimes at your expense. Cares about students. Biggest downside: not very helpful on Piazza. Very Russian 9.5/10.Rate My Professors ↗
Excellent Professor! You can attend office hours and ask direct questions about concepts. The professor is very patient and funny. He may poke fun here and there, but his teaching style, notes and guidelines are very clear. Just make sure to ask him to clarify something if you feel confused.Rate My Professors ↗
He is a good lecturer and explains concepts well, and I never had to read that much. The course is very well organized, and the difficulty would be pretty average. Exams are marked pretty harshly, but it's still easy to get a good grade in this class unless you're taking 5 other classes...Rate My Professors ↗
Not a bad professor. He lectures right along with the textbook so if you are confused you can always go there. I also appreciate the insane amount of practice problems we were given. However, he's just a mean guy. I tried to talk twice in class and he made fun of me. Very mean and unapproachable for questions in OH and before class.Rate My Professors ↗
Ivanov would have a rating above 4.5 on this website if it wasn't for his accent. He is funny, uploads lecture notes, is extremely well organized on canvas, goes through material at a good pace, and even has a list of extra challenge problems each week if you want more practice.
