This professor was kind and accommodating, however the class itself was unorganized and extremely vague. Her grading was extremely harsh and unfair considering there was little to no explanation for the set up and prompt of the assignments. There was no explanation when a large portion of points were taken off for the essay, overall not helpful.Rate My Professors ↗
Nice Professor, but class was way harder than it needed to be. Discussions, papers, exams were all graded way harder than necessary. Lectures were long and boring. Tons of reading. Lectures were recorded, but powerpoints were never posted and exam answers were never released. Also could not view averages for work so hard to gage how you were doing.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Murchison was nice, but her class was way harder than it needed to be. We had a final paper that was graded really harshly and most of her comments were personal preferences we would've never known. Lectures got really boring and she never got through the content we needed because she spent time answering every question and going on tangents.Rate My Professors ↗
LOVED having Prof Murchison! She was super good at accommodating her students' needs. Our class expressed severe stress to her and she gave us an extra week to write our papers. She also was very good at answering any questions you had on material. Great lecturer too.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Murchison put no effort into her class whatsoever and we would repeatedly have lectures telling us 'welcome back from break' when we hadn't even had one yet. The class isn't extremely hard to get an A in, but I felt like she didn't know what she was talking about and took material straight out of the textbook. The grading was harsh.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. M was extremely kind and accommodating. Responds to email super quickly. The course was designed to be online pre-COVID. All you have to do is read and discuss with your peers, a few tests, and write one quality paper. If you do the work you will have no problem.
