CHICLA 201
Quality 4/5Difficulty 2/5
She is a nice teacher, though not always organized. Summatives include two online open-note exams and a group project at the end. Some busy work exists, but most assignments are easy. Expect many readings and videos. Lectures feel boring and are required, though you do not need full attention.

Megan was a great professor and clearly interested in the topic she teaches. The canvas at times was sometimes a little wonky to navigate, but overall it was fine. The content itself is interesting, and the assignments were not difficult. It is heavy on reading and conceptualizing, with exams being focused on specific class content.

Although the content Prof. Bailon's class is very informative and interesting, I personally was not the biggest fan of the way the class was organized. The Canvas was kind of a mess, and the instructions on assignments were extremely unclear. She is kind and always asks follow-up questions to challenge students' thinking, though.

Prof. Bailon is a great person! However, the content in the class is way too much. She tries to structure the class way more than it needs to be structured, to the point where it makes things kind of confusing. Tons of readings, and assignments. 90% of the time you will be in discussions during class. Like I said though, she is super nice.

Honestly, an average class. Regarding the professor, it is very hard to follow along when she presents or lectures because she says "um" every 5 seconds. Can get annoying as the semester progresses. A lot of small discussion which is ok. The midterms are ok but the time she provides is not a lot in my opinion.

The content we learn in this course is interesting, but she is not good a lecturing she says umm almost every other word, and it makes it hard to pay attention. There is a lot of busy work that is honestly not necessary but it's all pretty easy. Overall it's an easy class and she is very nice and easy to talk to the class is just boring.
