There are a lot of long, boring readings but they are generally covered in lecture. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities. Dr. Armando has good lectures and he's pretty funny.

Armando seems like a great guy, but his teaching style makes me want to pull my hair out. Whenever he talks about anything related to the class, he comes off as incredibly pretentious. Seriously, its not that deep. Readings are a waste of time, the midterm and exam are only on topics covered in lecture. Should be an easy A

One of the best professors I've ever had. Participate enthusiastically and give the class your all and he will motivate you further and help you discover new opportunities. I've taken 2 classes with Prof Ibarra now and I wish I could take more. Absolutely adore his lectures. If you like organized labor HE IS YOUR MAN.

Awesome awesome professor. He has a super kind heart and was very clear. Lots of readings, but barely any assignments so workload is moderate.

Lots of assigned readings but exams based off lecture slides, which are posted. Professor Ibarra is a passionate lecturer and clearly cares about what he teaches. However, grades are heavily weighted by two exams, midterm and final, in addition to three reflection papers.

Professor Ibarra is a great professor who actually cares about his students and what he teaches. This class has a lot of readings, but to be honest you don't have to read all of them. Ibarra goes through all the readings in class, and that's all you need for the exams (do the review sheet too). There are reflection papers, 2 exams, and attendance.
