Good: I was impressed with her level of Spanish - she knows her stuff. Was very helpful and learned everyone's name the 1st week of class. Explained concepts very clearly, although she didn't tell us when homework was due. Bad: You read a LOT and she grades your papers pretty harshly. However, it's not hard to get an A or B. Marin is easy to understand and helps you through the readings, but she is a relentless grader. I thought I was pretty good at Spanish until I took this class. The exams are terrible and the lectures are pointless. I wouldn't take this class unless you absolutely have to.Rate My Professors ↗

She definitely knows her stuff! Very knowledgeable and speaks clearly! Participate a lot, raise your hand for everything. The class is very particular because it's all grammar, so study the assigned readings! Some of the quizzes are harder than you'd expect.Rate My Professors ↗
