Has an ego. Class is super easy if you pay attention and do the reading, but he surely has an ego. He tends to be condensing sometimes, and is more worried about you being 5 minutes late to class rather than the actual work you do.Rate My Professors ↗
Alagna was amazing! He's a great Spanish teacher who loves teaching his language. Be ready to complete homework for every class, it is apart of your final grade! There are 2 compositions, and 4 exams with 3 quiz's. Lots of grammar content but if you study (or took Spanish in highschool) you should be fine!Rate My Professors ↗

I was not a fan of the type of teaching style that was given. Expecting a 101 class to gain knowledge of a language very quickly is not acceptable and not fair. It is something new and shouldn't be thrown at us all at once. It is unfair for the students that didn't take any Spanish in high school and had to struggle catching up.Rate My Professors ↗
Really great class experience so far. In a higher level of Spanish a lot of the kids have different types of experience. Some kids are practically fluent and others have terrible accents. But, he grades everyone in the class on how much they've progressed, not how much they knew before. Hilarious guy and very reasonable, would take again.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Alagna was a very solid Spanish professor. Spanish 226 was restructured this year and was filled with mounds of homework. Mr. Alagna made this class bearable by following grading rubrics and meeting with students outside of class to review major assignment.Rate My Professors ↗
