Took Chem 103 with a different Professor and failed but when I took it with Lamont, I saw a difference and was actually able to understand Chem. She takes the time to annotate the slides, post the annotated version on Canvas and help in the areas where she sees most class is struggling. Would 1000% recommend Chem 103 with her!Rate My Professors ↗

Decent professor. Her lectures are not confusing and she makes a big point to make sure your not lost. Go to her office hours if you can!Rate My Professors ↗

Hated Chem 104, lectures were boring, but I can understand why, since the class is boring af. Super hard though, exams were extremely difficult to me, but I am also just bad at chemistry. Not a fun class, but needed to do it for my major.Rate My Professors ↗

What is annoying is her blank, unintelligent stare at you when she is angry for any made up reason. She is exhausting. She makes everything about herself. She probably has some serious family issues. She takes all energy from every room she enters. Her confronting behavior when she is listening to something is worse.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Lamont's lectures can be uneven, but engaging with the pre-class assignments and using helpful resources like unstuck AI really paid off. The workload is reasonable if you stay on top of things. Overall, a decent professor if you're willing to put in the effort.Rate My Professors ↗

Lectures started slow with basic concepts but would always run out of time for the harder concepts. If your lab is early in the week, you will not know anything about that topic before your lab because that material is learned in lecture that week. She wasn't very flexible with schedule conflicts for testing, but she's a very nice person.Rate My Professors ↗
