Took this class online during the summer. She was a terrible professor who barely posted any of the required homework and files for the class. She also wouldn't respond to emails at all. If you don't have to take this class with her avoid it at all costs.Rate My Professors ↗
GET CHEGG. only way to pass the course. clear english but does problems too quick to keep up. Ask her a question and you will be answered in a very rude and sarcastic way. she expects you to know everything. four exams, but posts tons of old exams with solutions which is very useful for studying. chegg has solutions for all hw problems. get chegg.Rate My Professors ↗
Laurie Riley, where to begin, she looks like Sadness from Inside Out and it is the exact feeling you'll get when attending lecture. Lectures are the most confusing experiences and she rarely provides usable feedback, often belittling students and rolling her eyes when a question is asked. The only positive thing I can think to say about Laurie is that English is her first language. Still, you probably won't be able to understand what she is saying as she is quiet, monotone, and just doesn't make much sense. "Instructor" Riley is no longer teaching courses after this semester but I'd say she's yet to teach a course as her "lectures" are reading directly from the slide and not being able to explain the logic behind things. As a whole, Prof. Riley does not do a great job teaching this course. I've found the homework to be the most beneficial learning tool. If you can succeed at the homework, you will pass the tests.
