Dr. Choi is very passionate about chemistry and gives great lectures. There is a textbook for the class, but exams are written based almost entirely off of homework and lecture slides. There is a large project lab for the class, which is poorly designed and incredibly confusing. People say it is an easy grade, but I found it was graded harshly.Rate My Professors ↗

Took the joint class with buchberger and Choi. Choi's lectures were great and she gave quick feedback on any questions over email. Her tests were easy so long as you understood the homework. Project lab sucked, having a grade dependent on idiots is never good. However, the group projects are a marginal part of the grade so just do well on exams.Rate My Professors ↗
She is one of the most amazing lecturers I have had, and I would highly recommend taking any class taught by her as she makes everything crystal clear in terms of expectations. On top of that, she is hilarious! She puts a lot of work into teaching and expects her students to reciprocate that, which makes for a fantastic professor.Rate My Professors ↗
Her lectures and lecture notes are reasonably clear. She follows the textbook almost word for word, so the best way to get a good grade is to read the book and do practice problems at the end of chapters. Weekly homework assignments are end of chapter problems for a completion grade, solutions available in the book, the solutions manual or on cheggRate My Professors ↗
She teaches the material very well and the tests are simple and straightforward. Her rating does not reflect how easy the class was compared to other Chem 104 professors. All you need to do is study the tophat questions and lecture slides and you'll do well.Rate My Professors ↗
Some people like her, but I haven't heard that from any people in my lecture. She's intense and unrelenting in lecture and calls students out. Her tests are difficult, and she is vindictive in enforcing her policies, such as no notecards on the tests. She explains the material in an impatient, apathetic way, and is angry if you don't get it. Rough.Rate My Professors ↗
