Kirk is one of the best professors at this university. He's a great guy inside and outside of the classroom and you can tell he genuinley cares about his students. While this class is tough, Kirk's lectures help make things a little more clear, and he provides a good amount of resources to help prepare for exams.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Peter is the most incredible professor I've every had in all educational years. He genuinely cares for students and only wants them to succeed. His class content is tough but he is always accessible for office hours/review sessions if you need. If you get the chance to take a class with Kirk you'll never regret it!Rate My Professors ↗
One of the best teachers I have ever had. At first, the class was overwhelming but once you start to figure out his teaching style and the basic fundamentals it becomes much easier. He has a very likable personality and is a former actuary, as he provides many examples from the workplace. Couldn't reccomend enough!Rate My Professors ↗
The textbook he gives you doesn't help at all, it's extremely hard to understand. In lecture he goes very fast and it's difficult to take good notes, personally his lectures did not help me at all. I learned most of the material for class through a Coaching Actuaries subscription for exam FM. Be prepared for a quiz every Thursday.Rate My Professors ↗
Very interesting lectures and open to answering questions. The final exam is 50% of your grade, so make sure to pay attention and use resources provided.Rate My Professors ↗
One of the best professors I have had here. He can be a little intimidating, but you will learn so much in class, and he often brings real-world experience into lectures as he was an actuary for about 20 years. Lectures are very enjoyable, but class can be very difficult if you aren't prepared, especially the final exam worth 50% of your grade.Rate My Professors ↗
