The lectures can be a little dry (pun intended), but Dr. Potter presents material clearly and concisely. If you attend the lectures and do the homework, the exams shouldn't be too difficult.

The most boring lecturer I have ever had, and the most boring course in the whole civil curriculum. If you are not interested in the subject, it feels like being tortured.

His lectures were very pointless to attend. The exam had mostly questions from discussion and hw with only 1 5 point question from exam material. All of his slides are posted online.
