Kelsey's classes were very content based. Many tests and quizzes, lots of reading, typically language professor. Wasn't super accessible outside class - always made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by asking for office hours. Doesn't teach grammar content well and doesn't use vocab in class to enforce it. Okay, Prof. Roy is honestly very kind and Is empathetic and easy to communicate with. But, the tests are really hard and she barely prepares you for them. Additionally, you wont get the tests back or see them in Canvas until the very end of the semester, so you don't have much of a clue what to improve the next time round. Kelsey is a fantastic proffesor. She is very accessible. She went above and beyond to make sure you understood the class material. In addition, she teaches with clarity and makes lessons interesting and fun. If you have the chance to take a course taught by her I highly suggest it!Rate My Professors ↗
great professor, really nice person if you make an effort to talk to her. put in some work outside of class to learn the material, but she'll go over stuff in class again if multiple people are asking. tests are fair based on what we learn in class and on hw, so do the hw!!! you need a paper copy of the book. don't buy the premium website- not usedRate My Professors ↗
French 204 is still focused on french grammar, not literature, so there are only short writing assignments. All tests were fair, and Kelsey is excellent at explaining grammatical concepts. Class involved good opportunities for speaking, reading, and writing French.Rate My Professors ↗
