For her first time teaching I think she did an okay job. She's very passionate about chemistry which is nice to see, but I don't think she quite had a grip on how to put together exams as they were extremely long and difficult compared to other chem 104 classes. Chem is a hard topic to teach and Hilleke isnt the worst prof to have. Doing the practice exams and sample exams are a must to do well. Tests were very difficult and very long but not impossible, just close to it. If you are a good studier, you can do well.Rate My Professors ↗
Not my favorite professor ever, definitely not the worst. She's alright, she tells a lot of corny jokes during lecture but they're cute and fun so it lightens the mood. Her tests are hard, I had her in the power-lectures and she made her exams 75 minutes so it was a crunch.Rate My Professors ↗
AMAZING. She's very young and knowledgeable about her field and extremely relatable and has a good sense of humour, all of which she incorporates into her lectures. I don't think she ever said "um" once during a lecture: astounding public speaking skills. She explains concepts in detail and provides step by step guides to problem solving.Rate My Professors ↗
