Great professor, very passionate about the subject which was reflected into interesting lectures. Took French 211 just to fill a credit but it ended up being the best class I have taken.

Prof Armstrong is awesome, hes got the right blend of uplifting and charming energy without being overbearing and annoying. Hes funny as all get out which helps break tension. In terms of grading hes a fairly easy grader, and is very reasonable and understanding when it comes to missed class days/assignments.

I took French 211 last semester, and I loved it! At first, I wasn't very enthusiastic about taking the class since it was only to fulfill a requirement, but it ended up being my favorite. Professor Armstrong is a genuine, chill guy, and he is knowledgeable on the topics we covered. The class was manageable, and I would definitely recommend it.

Super chill dude and a great professor. Funny but very knowledgable about the class content. Easy A if you attend class for attendance points, I never did the readings but could still do well on papers. Honestly what made the class was my TA (shoutout Fabian) but there's another who was awful. Usually didn't pay attention and was completely fine

Armstrong was a good professor overall, didn't make things too difficult for students. Had around 5 quizzes total, all based on what was taught during lecture -- attend lectures if you want to pass the class! Midterms were fine, mostly just papers.

Josh is an awesome prof! His class is very simple, the readings are straight forward, and the quizzes are easy if you do the readings and pay attention. This is a literature course, so expect quite a bit of reading, but I was shocked at how little writing there was for this class. Only one mid-term paper (1 page) and a final paper (2 pages).
