I really liked this professor, he is very passionate ab teaching. However, I took this class to learn more about chicla and I felt out of place because Professor had had students in this class in previous ones, and he made jokes and comments a lot, specifically with those students. Great professor, you can tell he is really passionate about what he teaches and wants his students to do well. Very engaging lectures, Villagran actually makes an effort to connect with his students and cares about their success. An actual king. Super funny and course content is easy to digest. You can tell he's super passionate about the subject and there were multiple times where I cried after class because I was moved. prof villagran is clearly very educated on this topic (as he should be), but this being said he is VERY cocky. there were many times when I emailed him thruout the semester and he either 1. didn't respond or 2. responded in a stand-offish way. he is quite ridiculous, but the class isn't too hardRate My Professors ↗
This man is an incredible professor. He truly cares about what he teaches and is always available if his students need help. Lectures are definitely mandatory and the readings are important. He wants his students to succeed and helps them with it. Love Villagran!!Rate My Professors ↗
