About this rating

Raw average: 5.00/5 from 3 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

EDPSYCH 301
Quality 5/5Difficulty 1/5
Beier is definitely a nice person and his class was pretty easy but you HAVE to do the analysis paper in the semester- idk how but he knows if you don't. There's extra credit and the exams you get a notecard and are pretty easy. However, he takes forever to grade things. Overall though, good guy and the class should be an easy A

Joel, has honestly been one of my favorite professors i've had in my college career. He is very caring and down to earth, he creates a very calm and welcoming classroom experience. Exams are not that bad. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an Edpsych requirement, or who just want a great professor

EDPSYCH 301
Quality 5/5Difficulty 2/5
Joel walks the walk when it comes to educational psychology. He actively incorporated all of the positively proven techniques and modes of learning he taught us about in his own instruction, and his slides and assignments were laid-back, clear, but full of super valuable info for life as a student!
