One of the best professors I've had at UW - very friendly, encouraging, and passionate about the class content. Worth taking even if you aren't interested in radio - mostly project-style assignments, with one group project near the end.

Took CA450. Prof Wang is one of my favorite professors to date. She cares deeply about the class content and will make individual connections with students that help build value. The class is very information dense, and the exams are very hard, but keep up with readings and pay attention in class & it'll be fine. Jennifer is amazing.

Professor Wang had a reasonably easy topic to make interesting, and she does a decent enough job of making the material engaging. I don't think this will be one of your favorite classes, but it definitely isn't problematic. Actually watch the TV episodes, because nobody else does, and your TA will love you for it. Don't bother with the readings

Amazing lectures, not mandatory to pass, but very profound topics if you love TV. Textbooks are not required because quizzes are on readings online. You have to do a little more than skim the readings to pass. Screenings are not mandatory, it's just free TV! Really amazing, as an engineering student I looked forward to her lectures as a break

Barely went to lecture, she posts all her lectures online. Always go to discussion because attendance matters there. Never used my textbooks, she gives most of the readings online. 6 vocab quizzes, drops 1. Gives you vocab and essay questions she will pick for the exam, can prepare in advance. Super nice professor, really cares about her students.

One of the best professors on campus in my opinion. I had her for Com A Speech and she is so caring and definitely cares about her students. She is upfront with you about the speeches you write which makes it easy to get a good grade. You need to show up for class because of class information and speech feedback. Books are needed for midterms/final
