Dr. Choy's quantum class was pretty hard if you don't have a background on quantum mechanics, but she's a great lecturer and cares to know if you understand the concept so you'd perform well on exams. Take time to work on HW, it'll take a while & prep you for exams. Go to office hours if you're feeling unsure on a topic, you won't be disappointed.

Great course for optics people in general! The lectures were in-depth and helpful. She even built quite a few in-class demos with interesting materials. The homework was of reasonable length too. Her office hour always sparked lively discussions. Would definitely take again!
