class isnt too bad at all. time consuming but exams are pretty easy. lab blows but its a small part of grade. just read the book and youll be fine. hamers is great

Nice lady. Terrible project lab that takes up 90% of your life and has little to do the rest of the course. Homework can be time consuming. The concepts and material for the class are easy. The ridiculous amount of "busy" work reduces time that can be spent on any other class.

Challenging exams and homework, lots of studying required. READ THE BOOK! Very helpful to read every chapter it is the best way to grasp the concepts in addition to the homework problems. Very helpful professor outside of class and always willing to help.

Hard class. Chances are pretty good you'll be frustrated once or twice while doing homework or labs for this class. If so, go to her office hours! She is so helpful and will talk you through everything. She really cares that we understood what we were learning. Honestly, she's adorable and one of the nicest and most approachable profs I've had!

Professor Hamers is an adorable and great professor for Chem 103. Her homeworks are based on effort and her quizzes are pretty fair. The exams are not too difficult if you keep up with lecture materials and if you do the homework. She gives you a 4*6 notecard for each exam. I really recommend her.
