Dr. J was a fantastic professor for Math 222. Coming into calc 2, many students (including myself) were very nervous as there's definitely a reputation that calc 2 has that scares lots of students. Janoski is pretty solid and thorough when explaining new concepts. I do wish she would handwrite problems more often, as her slideshows are occasionally hard to follow. The class itself is run pretty poorly, especially in the Spring semester, where the most difficult concepts are taught before break and not tested until the final.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Janoski is the best professor I've had. She is fun and engaging, and makes a daunting class enjoyable and easy to follow. Dr. J is easy to reach outside of class and is very understanding. My only critique is not of Dr. J but of the class, as the Calc department has 3 exams that make up over 85% of your grade, leaving students with no grace.Rate My Professors ↗
If you need to take calc 2, take it with Dr. J. Calc 2 notoriously sucks, and I'm not saying the class is easy, but she makes it a heck of a lot more tolerable. She is very funny, you actually learn in lecture, and she makes an effort to know her students. Would 100% take another class with her, try to get into her lecture!!Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. Janoski was one of the nicest and funniest professors I've ever had. She knew how to really connect with her students and make a very difficult class easier.
