Genuinely the best math instructor I've had. She doesn't handwrite her notes, so it took a bit for me to get used to that, but did an amazing job teaching Calc 2. This professor inspired me to pursue a math certificate and 100% take a class with her if you can.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. J is a great lecturer, she is very savvy and has great slides that teach students exactly how to identify, categorize and solve problems, but I don't think her lecturing style fosters much intuition for students. She's also super friendly, learned a bunch of names, and even brought candy for us once!Rate My Professors ↗

Going into calc 2 I was nervous because of the classes reputation. However, Dr. J made the material more manageable and easier to understand. She was good at answering questions during class, and made an effort to get to know students that sat in the first 5ish rows.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. J was a fantastic professor for Math 222. Coming into calc 2, many students (including myself) were very nervous as there's definitely a reputation that calc 2 has that scares lots of students.
