Professor Miller is the best CBE professor I had. He is very organized and EASILY accessible outside of class, as we can ask him questions on Canvas. He made a challenging course seem super interesting and clear to understand. Exams are fair and not hard but the time is not enough to finish them. So you need to be fast!Highly recommend this legend!

Prof. Miller is a great lecturer and genuinely cares about his students. His classes were tough (especially his exams, which were a real exercise in time-management), but I learned a lot and surprisingly got through Thermodynamics pretty well. Would definitely recommend him for anyone studying CBE at UW-Madison.

One of best professors in the CBE department. Ive take 310 and 440 with him and he is the nicest professor Ive ever had who actually cares about you learning things. Highly recommend taking his classes!! Thank you Professor Miller, Ive learned a lot

Prof. Miller is one of the best professors because he genuinely cares whether or not students learn the material. Homework is very fair, but exams are always too long for the time period allotted. However, I have learned an incredible amount through courses I've taken with Prof. Miller (440, 326, 310).

Professor Miller is hands down the best professor that Ive ever had. He is really clear when it comes to teaching. Ive had him for three semesters now: CBE 310, 440 and 326. Very organized, clear and pace is just nice for students to follow. Highly recommend taking his class. His exams can be kinda tough, but you learn a lot out of his classes

Professor Miller is one of the best professors I have ever had. I have had him for CBE 310, CBE 440, and CBE 326. I have learned an incredible amount from Prof. Miller, and I would gladly take any classes taught by him again (although I don't think there are any). The only thing I would watch out for is the time crunch during midterms.
