Ivy is a nice lady. She offers help in any way and wants you to succeed. Participation is crucial to get a good grade. The homework was sometimes difficult but was manageable and it didn't affect your grade all that much. I would definitely recommend this class. Easy A.Rate My Professors ↗

Ivy is spectacular. You have 3 presentations throughout the semester. The presentations are simple and straight forward. Participate in class and you'll pass. I learned so much and Ivy is so helpful at teaching you how to speak!Rate My Professors ↗
Ivy has been my favorite professor to have at UW! She is a lot of fun and truly wants you to improve. Even with being online, the classes were fun and the 75 minutes flew by! Ivy is very passionate about her work but lectures are very dry and boring. She gives practice tests, make sure you do them! There is a lot of reading required and be prepared for quizzes.Rate My Professors ↗
Ivy truly cares about her students! The best advice I can say is that you should read the material, talk to her outside of class when you can, and communicate openly with her!
