Prof Panahi is caring and understanding, but for lecturing, he's only ok. Lectures unorganized and felt like all over the place. Sometimes gave vague instructions so you'd better ask for more details. Takes ages to grade paper & post grades on canvas. Hossein is the treasure of the ESL program in UW Madison. If Allah exists in the ESL program, it is him. His flexibility, friendly lectures, and *easiness in grades* will save you from the misery of the tedious and unnecessary ESL program.
