About this rating

Raw average: 4.62/5 from 21 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

I loved having Hiroshi! He was a very good lecturer, and I was engaged the whole time! He has coffee breaks in between slides. You can tell he really enjoys talking about this topic! Overall, a very good professor to have had.

Maeda is a great professor and he makes the course very engaging and very easy to understand. He is also very lenient when it comes to grading and allows for regrades. The class overall is pretty easy since there are only 6 take home quizzes/homework and one journal presentation. As long as you pay attention in class, you will do good in his class.

Hiroshi is hands down one of THE best profs and humans on campus. It's obvious how dedicated he is to science and students learning, you'll be lucky to have him as a professor. I seriously cannot recommend him or his classes enough. The folks in his lab help out occasionally and they're all amazing (shout out soyoung, marcos, and jorge you rock).
