The course was interesting enough but I learned more from the assigned readings than lectures. Professor Buhnemann is hard to get in contact with, doesn't respond to emails, and is a bit old-fashioned. She doesn't post lectures on canvas and strongly enforces a no phones in class policy-- yelled at a student for taking photos of the slides

I have really enjoyed this class so far. Not very difficult, you really don't need to do the readings in order to know what is going on. One midterm "paper proposal" and a final paper and presentation. Can feel a bit repetitive, but she is very sweet and if you clearly try, you should do just fine. Don't wait to start the final paper!

I took the history of yoga fig and you definitely get what you give. She is so caring and kind and wants her students to do well especially when theyre actually trying. The class really isnt that hard, and you dont have to do the readings. Her accent makes things a little harder, though, and the lectures are really repetitive.

I had professor Gudrun Buhnemann for the History of Yoga. I was generally interested in the topic but she made me not want to come to class. Her slides were just a black screen with very few words thrown together. It was hard to understand her and she seemed to just be throwing out facts for us to memorize nonstop. The class was pretty easy though.
