he did a good job of letting people know what he wanted students to learn and be able to do when he introduced new chapters. exams are unnecessarily calc heavy but theres always an easy question in each of them. he said he wouldnt curve but he did in the end. dont skip the review sessions he holds before exams

Tests are very heavy on calculus even though it is not taught at all. I know calc is a pre-req, but I haven't taken it in 3 years and the integrals given do not need to require integration by parts when simply setting up the integral correctly demonstrates a full understanding of what was taught in this class.

Gonzalos a very generous grader. The exam averages were trash but his curve was more than enough to help me pass the class. Decent teacher and tought me a lot. Would recommend him to any student.

WORST PROFESSOR IVE EVER TAKEN. Do yourself the favor and never get in the same class as him. It will make you contemplate your life. The class has a D average and he has no plan to curve. The class is disorganized, he puts solutions up super late, and the tests are super proof heavy. Worst class I've taken at UW

Bring ur pillow. Hes slower than anyone Ive ever met. Also, being a pillow for your pillow, cause thatll fall asleep too no questions asked.
