Great professor, very passionate and informative. He's one of the few professor's I've had at UW who is understanding of students lives and was excited to see our projects.

I had Francisco for gen 527 (might have formerly been 627?), and he's a great guy. Super funny and passionate and disorganized in an endearing way. The lectures for this class are really dense, but most of the grade is based on a separate term project with lots of freedom on the topic.

Super accessible and caring about students' learning and progress. Lectures are heavily focused on papers and results, but definitely takes time to focus on the main points and what students are expected to know. Great experience.

Great person and willing to help the students anyway he can. Lectures can focus too much on paper results which makes things confusing

This class was developmental genetics for conservation. Very interesting topic and you get to work on your own project which is extremely rewarding. Great teacher, would take any class he teaches again.

This class is only 1 credit so it was really easy, but it is also had interesting discussions. I really enjoyed it.

Dr. Pelegi was super chill, fun to have discussions with, and was a great teacher.

Very clear in presentation, good teaching style. Seems to genuinely care if you learn the material.

Taught Mendelian and Population Genetics sections. Those were the easier sections of the course. But he is very nice, and will help when needed. his exams and homeworks were pretty easy. Attending the discussions help.
