Very discussion heavy. Lectures were boring and not super necessary if slides were posted, but couldn't skip because there was a graded discussion every class. Each week had one small-group discussion, one class discussion. She was clearly knowledgeable about anthro, friendly and checked in with me multiple times about accommodations.Rate My Professors ↗

Mostly very boring. Lectures were unnecessary to attend in hindsight -- the slides have all the important parts of the readings. She just read over verbatim what the textbook said, and every time we had class, we would have to complete an inquisitive quiz on the chapter assigned for that day.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Enriquez was a great professor. I'm wondering if the other bad reviews are just because 104 sucks to teach and faculty are bored by it. She was extremely knowledgeable in both ethnography and social theory, and made a lot of theory/philosophy stuff very easy to understand. My only critique is that she often didn't show much enthusiasm.Rate My Professors ↗
The class itself is easy but lectures are super boring. Discussion takes attendance but there is no point in coming to lectures. All exams are online and answers are available on quizlet.Rate My Professors ↗
Anthro 104 will be an easy class with any professor at UW Madison, since the exam solutions are all posted on quillet and you have 2 days to take the exam online. You don't really need to go to lectures, but it helps to actually do the readings and take notes so you're prepared for the mandatory discussions each week.Rate My Professors ↗
The most boring lectures I've ever attended, can't read the room. With 12 people left coming to lecture, maybe it's not a good idea to "think-pair-share". She also wouldn't round my 92.95% to a 93% which is super lame of her. Monotonous voice, unengaging presentations. The exams are online, the subject is easy. But she overcomplicates everythingRate My Professors ↗
