(SOC618) Great professor, and a great course! Fabien teaches well, assigns interesting readings, and gives a lot of flexibility with the project. Don't skip readings. Pick a research topic that you love. If you've never done much programming, you'll need to put in more time than most people to learn R.

Super nice professor who you can tell genuinely cares about the subject and students' understanding. Easy class if you're interested in the subject, otherwise the readings can get tedious but overall not bad.

Super interesting professor and he clearly knows a ton about the subjects he teaches. The class is almost entirely built based on discussion of the readings, and there are a LOT of them, but read them and show up to class and you'll do well.
