(Fall 2021-2022) Statistics can be a difficult topic but she explained things quite well. There's weekly homework assignments and reading from the textbook. (The textbook is similar to lecture material so its not needed to read. Textbook was confusing at times). The final project is a group project. Dr. Ward was an outstanding professor. I had little statistics background, but she made the content clear and easy to understand. She posted a pre-lecture that you could watch for better understanding, lecture slides and then did a lecture in class. I love Dr. Ward not only because she is so clear in class, but also because she is very accessible after class. Extra office hours before exams and projects are always very helpful.
