One of the most engaged and supportive professors I've ever had. It's clear that she cares about her students - both their success and their deep engagement with the texts. Dr.Cannell is one of the best professors you will ever have. I have take two classes with her, and both were incredible. Her classes are big on implementing different feminist theories, but she finds really fun ways to teach theory in a way that is approachable. Hands down the best professor I've ever had. She is really passionate, which made her lectures super engaging. This was the only class I've ever not skipped once. The grading was very fair, and there was a lot of reading, but if you fall behind just go to lecture and you'll be fine. I would go out of my way to take her class again.Rate My Professors ↗
