Ambiguous grading guidelines/rubric. Extremely strict about participation grade-- docking points for things not outlined in the syllabus/rubric (ie. don't ask someone a clarification question or she'll deem you a distraction... a one sentence question about what a word she mentioned meant cost me 2 points). Just take another ethnic studies gen-ed

Attendance and participation is 10% of the final grade and is graded unfairly. The class is only out of 1,000 points and is hard to keep an A in, especially with how harshly the grading responses are graded. The lectures are boring and she doesn't move past the readings (uses the same examples over and over again) and wasn't well organized.

I have nothing to say but amazing things about this professor. If you can take her class, even as a fun class, it changes the way you perceive society and culture. I think about her teachings even outside of class. Don't even need her class for my major. One of the professors who makes you want to learn.
