Professor Dwight is a really easy guy to get along with. He's pretty strict about participation so talk several times every class if you want to get 100% in participation. There are no exams or anything but there are some homework assignments and 3 big projects. In my opinion, he's been a really tough grader but he will provide feedback if you ask.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof Dwight is a really nice guy and I enjoyed the layout of the class because it allowed the class to have a discussion with each other. Participation does matter and it can be hard if you don't like to talk a lot. The group projects have not great instructions and he grades hardly. I think he really does care about his students tho!Rate My Professors ↗
The material is a bit dull, but the class is pretty easy since there are barely assignments besides 3 group projects. To get full credit on participation you have to participate 2x a class which he makes doable. Group projects are vague and he expects a lot which is a bit annoying, but on the 2 I have back so far he graded them leniently.Rate My Professors ↗
I am just not a fan of how the class is structured. There is readings before every lecture and most lectures are just discussing these readings and It gets very boring and dull. He also never gave us any direction for the first group project and just expected us to be on top of it without even explaining or introducing the project in class.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Dwight is a great professor and lecturer. He is very helpful during office hours. Be prepared to do a lot of reading from the assigned book. There are no exams, but a few group presentations.Rate My Professors ↗
