Dr. Barta was really nice and you could tell she cared about her students. For being a one credit class I do feel like there was a good amount of time I had to put into it, and it might have just been our TA but there was a high expectation of quality of work that I wasn't expecting for an easy A class I assumed. Dr. Barta is a caring, knowledgable, and will do whatever she can to help you get research opportunities. CHEM260 really prepared me for research lab expectations and how to get your foot in the door. Without her, I wouldn't be working in a lab this summer. Cheri seemed more interested in doing very elementary examples in class than in explaining the key concepts of the course. Exams and weekly quizzes are hard and full of tricks. Teaches the class like an elementary course, tests and grades much harder. Does not curve tests or quizzes and seems to want the class average to be a CRate My Professors ↗
