About this rating

Raw average: 5.00/5 from 2 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Very nice professor who cares about his students. Homework's are group assignments and tough. Exams are reworked problems of the homework which is easy because of open note format.

Dr. Hirst is an amazing professor. He is enthusiastic, kind, and easily accessible. The class is tough mostly due to the format, but that is not his fault as he only just inherited the class from another professor. He is actively trying to improve the class and it's clear that he cares about his students, even knows everyone's names.
