About this rating

Raw average: 4.50/5 from 4 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

MATH 340

Ben did a great job with his lectures. The key thing for this class is to be always on your toes. Make sure you understand the lecture material + do the HW directly after lecture if possible. For the exams, spam previous semesters and look to the discussion packets

Hard course, but Ben did a great job going through things step by step in lecture, laying a solid foundation to get started learning the material. Super accessible through Piazza, tho he doesn't record lectures.

Super nice and great at explaining things. Lectures are kind of hard to pay attention to, but they are clear and if you put in the effort in attending and paying attention you'll be fine. Seems like a nice guy.

He is my favorite math professor I've had here! He teaches in a very clear way. I will say somethings on exams come a surprise and it is more theory heavy than any other math class I've had.
