I have never met a professor who cares more about their students than Dr. Hernandez. In terms of the actual class, it is a LOT of reading (although you can get away with not reading all of the articles most weeks). Great professor! Had him in my FIG, so it was discussion-based with him. Some struggles in the beginning of the semester with Canvas and understanding what was expected of me, but he was accessible outside of his class. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS.Rate My Professors ↗
cares a lot about students success and experiences. I recommend going to office hours to build connections. quizzes are hard and but he fought to change the quiz set up and add an extra credit assignment to boost grades up. graded based on 2 papers, one final project and 14 annotations assignments. highly recommendRate My Professors ↗

Prof. Hernandez was a really great lecturer. Final project was super fun and easy, however, monthly quizzes were very specific about readings and quite difficult. Course had many interesting topics and was interesting overall. Professor claimed to be "very flexible" regarding office hours but was unwilling to make changes to accommodate me.Rate My Professors ↗
