About this rating

Raw average: 3.35/5 from 23 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

CHEM 345
Quality 5/5Difficulty 4/5
Pretty good professor for 345, always was caring and straightforward about his expectations for the class. Teaches in a very different style than the trio/quad of professors, a lot less explanation heavy and more focused on breadth of concepts with specific areas of depth. Also focuses on biochemical relevancy of material to make it applicable.

CHEM 345
Quality 4/5Difficulty 4/5
Overall, a much better chem professor than the other lecturers. No notecards or reaction sheets for exams which meant a lot of memorization but the exams were MUCH easier than the other lecturers and didn't require a lot of explanation for why something was the correct answer. He actually does want students to succeed.

CHEM 345
Quality 4/5Difficulty 4/5
Buller is very open and honest to what he wants from you. His exams are in class which is much appreciated. Doesn't allow any notecards or provide any reaction notes on exams, which kinda sucks so you're going to have to memorize them. Is clear when answering questions. A good lecturer as well.

CHEM 345
Quality 5/5Difficulty 4/5
O chem is hard for most people but I think he did a great job breaking down the material for people to understand. Everyone complains about no notecards on exams, but the questions are easier if you don't have them. Also a very engaging lecturer
