Andrew really does try and make his classes a lot more fun than him just lecturing at us. With a COM A class though, the class size is already small. Andrew feels as if he's just another student in the class, which is nice compared to the other classes we're used to.Rate My Professors ↗
Andrew felt like one of my friends throughout class. Very helpful throughout class. Gave good feedback on the outlines to help prepare for the speeches, which helped my grade a lot. He was a fun guy to talk to also. Great teacher to have.Rate My Professors ↗
Very unclear grader-he docks points on outlines/speeches and doesn't clarify why, and he is extremely critical when grading things too. Expects way too much time commitment from students for being a 100-level class. There is lots of busy work and unnecessary expectations. He is a stickler for following the EXACT requirements of every assignment, and there are LOTs of them. Hand in your work on time, people! Not a hard class if you just stay on top of assignments and put in at least some effort.Rate My Professors ↗
He was an ok TA. He is very knowledgeable on the topic but can be boring at times. Pretty easy grader if you do the work. Do the readings for CA 250 because the quizzes are pretty much straight from the readings.Rate My Professors ↗
It's obvious that he knows what he's talking about, but he comes off very pretentious. He grades hard on papers and for some reason finds it fun to give people low grades on attendance, even if they've attended all of his classes and have participated in all of them.Rate My Professors ↗
