she really gets to know every student and always makes herself available for questions and meetings. i found comm a boring but i did improve my writing a lot with andrea's help. she is great!

Andrea is an absolutely awesome professor. She really goes the extra mile to get to know her students personally. I feel completely comfortable talking to her and emailing her whenever I need anything. 11/10 would take any class with her again.

She truly enjoys what she does and it shows in her teaching. She's always ready to give feedback and talk about what was good/bad, and if it is bad she words it in a very nice way! She really cares about her students and it's refreshing. Definitely one of my favorite classes to go to!

One of the best classes and teachers I've had at UW. Rigorous, interesting, fair, relevant. The lectures are so clear and well organized and not just spoon fed. Her feedback was always detailed and helpful. Wish more classes were run like this one.

As a Junior Communication Arts major, I don't think this course is well developed enough. Most of the course material lack a sense of connection through classes to classes. If you study on your own enough (because she only gives tiny bit of information and you have to study on your own for all the textbooks and films), getting an A is not hard.

If she's not the nicest TAlecturer you have ever met, there is a very good chance you are doing it wrong. She's so nice it's almost unreal. You can really tell she is truly enthusiastic about the subject she teaches, not just delivering lectures because she is assigned to. Honestly, best comm arts class I've ever taken and I learned so much.
