Prof. Alfredo is a nobleman. He erases the boards once he is done with a class. He also has clear handwriting and logic, best I've ever seen in a math professor. 100 out of 10.

Great professor. Content is difficult, but Professor Wetzel gives many different ways of understanding the material. Extremely helpful in his office hours (held three sessions each week) and is very patient with students. He explains how he approaches the problems seen in classes well, which was very helpful to learn from. Lectures are entertaining

He is passionate about the subject and also seems to enjoy teaching, which combines for amazing lectures. That being said it is a difficult class and with a relatively low curve, focus on understanding homework problems if you want to do well on exams. His office hours are very helpful and he is great in small group scenarios.

He's hilarious and really good at engaging his students. He likes to go in depth, so make sure to go to class, but he also makes it interesting. Overall a wonderful professor.

Alfredo is a very good teacher in the sense that he explains things very well and (usually) very clearly. However, he made this class unnecessarily hard. The HW consisted of 10 stupidly difficult problems--these were hard to learn from. Exams were also unnecessarily difficult for the majority of the class (mean on final was 54.4...) lol Good luck
