Great prof. Interesting, useful lectures. Assigns a lot of homework, but the exam questions are usually the same/similar to homework problems so make sure to do all the homework.

I noticed that there are no helpful reviews for an upper level math course. Well, she is very straightforward and gives us rigorous lectures. The lectures give us all the definitions, theorems, and proofs WITH MANY examples. The homework is a very good example of what the lectures say, and the midterms are variations on the homework. DO the HW!

It's a fast moving class, but if you go to lecture and keep up with recommended homework you shouldn't have a problem. Overall an great teacher, small accent but good at explanations and lots of help for TA's as well.

she has a small accent, but dont worry..shes easy to understand! she puts all of her lecture outlines on her website so if you print them off, lecture is easy to follow along. overall excellent professor

For Math144, make sure you print off the lecture notes online for each one of Nencius lectures. She teaches very very slowly and you may catch yourself way ahead of her while doing notes in class if you've taken alg, trig, etc before. Make sure you do well in you discussion. Dont worry about lecture because she is easy to understand.
