Adam is a fair essay grader with very clear grading criteria. I did topics in marine plastic pollution this semester, and his guidance helped a lot on my drafts. Just follow his step, and you will get it through.Rate My Professors ↗

I went to lectures every time but only received 6.5/10 for participation grade. Very tough grader. Very strict to take his classes. I'd recommend to drop if you happened to select his class. If there's no other options, try next semester if you do not need to graduate so earliy. Even for ESL 116 or 117. Lots of works to passRate My Professors ↗

tldr: he was convinced my first essay was "too good for you" and so I should "just tell him who wrote it on my behalf". May or may not have had anything to do with me being a shy foreign kid.Rate My Professors ↗

By far the best ESL teacher I've ever been with. His classes are genuinely fun. Adam can make you understand the material and solidify it through discussion, unlike other professors where they just read off of a textbook or PP slides. Would definitely take his classes again. No question about that.Rate My Professors ↗

Really good teacher, but nothing super super special I highly recommend him though.Rate My Professors ↗

He will be your nightmare if you take 118 from him. There is a huge problem about his teaching style. He does not know much and he does not teach much, but he expect you to reach high standard even he teach nothing. This is why learning from him is a pain since he is ridiculously picky and you can't even get help from him.Rate My Professors ↗
