What you’ll be able to do
Gain understanding and skills in selected quantitative research designs and methods.
Analyze advantages and limitations of different quantitative methods for studying phenomena relevant to nursing and/or health care broadly defined.
Substantively critique published quantitative research and funding proposals on multiple dimensions (e.g., conceptual, theoretical, methodological, ethical, analytical, historical, practical).
Demonstrate skills in integrating knowledge from empirical literature, logical arguments, theory, and research methods for writing quantitative research proposals to advance knowledge relevant to nursing and/or health care.
