Gain an understanding and skills in a range of qualitative research designs and methods.
Analyze the relationship between underlying philosophies and assumptions and the different qualitative approaches to nursing research.
Critically examine the advantages, and limitations of different qualitative research methods in the context of clinical nursing phenomena.
Demonstrate an ability to select the most appropriate qualitative approach for a specific research question.
Critique published qualitative research and grant proposals, integrating the above knowledge.
