Course Description

Introduction to inorganic organic hybrid materials with an emphasis on polymeric and framework structures. Covers fundamental concepts in coordination chemistry, organic and inorganic bonding, and crystallography. Explores how hybrid materials combine complementary features of organic and inorganic components to enable targeted functions. Topics include coordination complexes, coordination polymers, metal organic frameworks (MOFs), and inorganic polymer composites for applications in energy, separation, and sensing.
