  • Develop knowledge related to basic ethical principles that guide the field of school psychology and apply these to school-based practice.

  • Gain understanding of the purpose of supervision in the field of school psychology and develop knowledge of the developmental model of supervision used in the UW-Madison school psychology program.

  • Acquire knowledge of several introductory clinical skills (i.e., building a therapeutic alliance, listening, influencing responses).

  • Apply developing clinical skills in mock and introductory micro-skill activities.

  • Acquire knowledge of school psychology practice through the observation of a school psychologist.
