Course Description

Learn the fundamentals of sync-sound moving image production, including directing, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, production design, color grading, and production logistics. Produce scenes from existing scripts, rotating through the positions of director, director of photography, production designer/camera assistant, gaffer, sound designer/mixer, and boom operator/editor. Gain experience in casting, location scouting, and set design. Develop a deeper understanding of crew dynamics, the art of storytelling, and the operation of digital cinema technologies essential to film and television/streaming drama.
