I took 751 Embedded Computing systems course offered by him, which was a huge mistake. He gives good grades only to the students of his lab or those he knows personally. DO NOT take any graduate level course under him if you are not his research student.

Prof. Kim is a great Professor in the ECE department. He's very kind and soft-spoken and is always willing to answer questions. You'll likely have Kim or Krachey for 353, both are great, but you'll watch Krachey's lecture videos for either prof. As long as you're willing to put time into debugging the exercises/projects, it's a fun, easy class.

Professor Kim is good. The class is mostly self-taught from good videos from Joe Krachey and in-class exercises during which Kim and TAs are walking around to help (with decent response time). The class is organized, but exams can be difficult and the final project (while fun) took my partner and I awhile to finish (so start early once assigned!)

This professor is patient and adds many office hours before the exam. His exam is very tricky, therefore requires attention to details. Overall exams occupy a high percentage in your grade. Although the course content is not high-level, he intentionally makes the exam hard (could be due to COVID 19?)
