This professor is a tough grader, the class is based on only a few assignments/exams. Grades tend to take a long time to be returned, which makes it harder to know how you're doing.Whenever he taught, the lectures were honestly pretty boring and hard to stay engaged in, but the guest lectures were actually really interesting and much more engaging.Rate My Professors ↗

This is my first Rate My Review as a senior with a 4.0 (double STEM major) because of this professor. The content is important and interesting, with great guest speakers, BUT the quizzes and exams are in place to trick you not test your knowledge. Tested on specific, not emphasized, statistics and questions worded to trick you. Would NOT recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
Lectures are incredibly repetitive, you go over the same information over and over each class. The material covered is also very elementary, you don't really go into the science of how and why air pollutants effect you. You just learn that they do affect you. Didn't learn much!Rate My Professors ↗
Worked on group essays all semester, he made the draft due date before Thanksgiving, then sent feedback 10 days later saying he was short on time. After only getting 4 comments, he messed up our scheduled office hour meeting and didn't offer to reschedule so we never got feedback. I never felt like the professor actually cared about us learning the material. Extremely hard cumulative exams with random specifics from lectures instead of overall concepts and definitions, as well as a horrible study guide and more, just made it feel like he wanted us to struggle and wouldn't do anything to see that we actually learned.Rate My Professors ↗
